Rather, a bunch of new laws are about to take effect on Thursday.
Water bottles will now be eligible for the same nickel-deposit that have targeted soda buyers for the past 31 years, the Connecticut Post reported.
A state lawmaker representing Milford said he hopes the new law will give people a reason to redeem their discarded water bottles.
